
Christmas time is coming to the beautiful City of Lights and it is time for some shopping! After being deprived of Christmas market last year, the tradition is back. Location
Jardin des Tuileries is located between Louvre museum and Concorde place. It takes its name from the roof tiles factories that used to be there. André Le Nôtre, king’s gardener, formatted the garden’s aspect, French garden.

It is a beautiful garden to walk around, especially because it is surrounded by Louvre Museum, Orangerie Museum and Concorde place. You will also find statues from Rodin, Maillol or Giacometti along your way.
Christmas market
Starting November 24th,we will have one of our most famous Christmas markets, until January 6th. Stroll around the 120 chalets to find the perfect Christmas gift, decoration sand so on. Most of the products are “Made in France”, a great way to have unique products.
But what will be a French Christmas market without food? A special area is dedicated, a gourmet village if you wish, representing the 20 French region. The perfect opportunity to discover different local specialities without leaving Paris. This area will be inaugurated by the chef Alain Ducasse, who manage the gastronomic restaurant Jules Verne, on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower.
For children, free theatre representations take place plus, a special spectacle of Guignols, famous Frenchpuppet, take place every Wednesday. You can also enjoy the 50 meters high wheel, to get a panoramic view over the city. Plus, a 1400 square meter sice-skating ring is put in place, to delight children and parents.
The must seen is happening the 24th and 25th of December, with Santa crossing Paris sky with his sled. Surprise your kids this Christmas!
